Shaping a Brand that Shapes Spaces and People

If you’ve ever tried to build a brand from scratch, you know it’s rarely a straight line. It’s more of a winding path filled with questions, revisions, gut feelings, and, if you’re lucky, a few moments of clarity. For Devon Bieniawski, interior designer and founder of Convive., the journey was exactly that: an exploration that turned into something rooted, resonant, and refreshingly unique.

Convive. wasn’t just a business name waiting to be paired with a logo. It started with a feeling. Devon wanted something that felt energetic, trustworthy, creative, and dynamic. That’s easy to say and hard to design. But through an open and collaborative process, those feelings slowly took shape. Conversations turned into sketches, concepts turned into refinements, and eventually, there it was—a visual identity that felt like it had always belonged.

Convening on a Concept

The name Convive. came with layers. As a noun, it means a guest, someone invited to the table. As a verb, although considered outdated, it means “to feast with others.” That little discovery hit home. It captured Devon’s approach to interior design in a single phrase. She never wanted to be the type of designer who swoops in with a vision and overrides her clients living or working in the space. Instead, she sees herself as a partner in the process, someone who listens, contributes, and collaborates, who treats her role like an invitation rather than a directive. The name Convive. gave language to a philosophy she had long practiced.

This people-first approach is part of what sets Convive. apart. Whether it’s a residential renovation or a commercial buildout, Devon brings her clients into the creative process. She helps them feel at home, not just in the final result but throughout the journey. That emotional accessibility can be rare in design, where things can often feel intimidating. But with Convive., clients quickly learn they’ve partnered with a skilled and knowledgeable designer that genuinely values their input.

From Verb to vision

Challenged with developing the visual identity for Convive., we wanted the brand to be flexible. Devon works with a wide range of audiences and across various industries, so her brand needed to be adaptive. Instead of a fixed and rigid mark, we built a system that shifts depending on the context, partner, and the audience. Color palettes and logo treatments adapt based on whether the project is residential or commercial, industrial or hospitality, while still maintaining a cohesive identity. The result is a brand that feels consistent without being repetitive.

But perhaps the biggest shift didn’t happen on paper. It happened in Devon. Stepping out from behind a personal brand and into the identity of Convive. gave her more than a polished logo. It gave her clarity. It gave her the confidence to walk into meetings and networking events with a stronger presence, knowing that her brand reflects her values and the type of work she’s proud to do. That clarity has also created space. With a well-defined identity and a guiding vision—shaping spaces that shape people—Devon can more easily choose projects that align with her goals and create meaningful impact.

The Convive. brand isn’t a box that defines limits. It’s a foundation that Devon can grow from. It gives her room to evolve and the tools to do so with intention. As she looks ahead to refining her online presence and creating new ways for people to connect with her work, that foundation only becomes more valuable. The story of Convive. continues to unfold, shaped by feeling, built through trust, and grounded in the belief that the design process always begins with people.

Working with Devon Bieniawski to bring the Convive. brand to life is exactly what we strive for when we say “Do Good Work.” From the very first conversation to the final brand reveal, every decision was rooted in who she is and how she shows up for her clients. We’re proud to have helped shape a brand that not only reflects her and her approach but truly empowers her to be bold in new spaces. Convive. is more than a logo or a color palette—it’s a living, evolving identity, and we’re honored to have been part of its bright beginnings.
